On December 4, 2014, Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Olexander Motsyk met with representatives of the Canadian organization «InterHealth Canada» and American charitable organization «Project HOPE».
During the meeting the Ambassador informed about the current situation in Ukraine and priority areas of support from the international community due to the Russian aggression. For their part, representatives of the American and Canadian organizations expressed willingness to work together with the Ukrainian side in order to supply free of charge medication, medical equipment, providing services of highly qualified medical staff and assist in the development of modern medical infrastructure in our country to provide emergency humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, particularly for internally displaced persons.
The sides agreed on the need to hold the visit to Ukraine of the authorized representatives from «InterHealth Canada» and «Project HOPE» to assess the scope and specific areas of humanitarian assistance to victims of armed Russian aggression to regions and citizens of Ukraine, as well as to establish direct contacts with Ukrainian authorities.
