On March 27, 2015 Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Olexander Motsyk met with Viktor Jakovich, American diplomat with over 30 years of work experience in Eastern Europe (including as Ambassador), and president of consulting firm «Jackovich International».

Ambassador Motsyk and Mr. Jackovich discussed current financial and economic situation in Ukraine, progress in implementing reforms and opportunities for developing trade, economic and investment cooperation between Ukraine and the U.S.

In this context, Mr. Jakovich shared the concept of international business forum that his company together with Business Advisory Council for South Eastern Europe and Eurasia plans to hold this fall inn Kyiv.

It is planned that the main focus of the event which is to bring together European officials and business community will be on restoring Ukraine’s economy, ensuring sustainable development and attracting foreign investment to the priority spheres such as energy, agriculture, high-tech and IT.

After sharing the views on further steps to prepare international forum, Ambassador Motsyk expressed his hope for success of the future event.
