On April 30, 2015, Doctor of Political Sciences, Prof. Vladyslav Hrynevych (Senior Research Associate, Kuras Institute of Political and Ethnic Studies of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine) presented his report “Maidan and the Third Empire”. The report covered main contradictions in views and perceptions inherent to Ukrainian and Russian cultures descending from different historic background and leading to the current conflict of identity.

The presentation was organized at the Embassy of Ukraine to the United States of America with the support of the Shevchenko Scientific Society, Inc. (Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland department).
