Embassy of Ukraine to the United States of America participated in the Embassy Open House
On May 2, 2015, the Embassy of Ukraine to the United States of America participated in the Embassy Open House in Washington D.C. held under the auspices of The Cultural Tourism D.C. (Passport D.C.).
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Embassy of Ukraine, along with 39 other foreign diplomatic missions in Washington D.C., opened its doors for free public admission. Within this period, the Embassy of Ukraine had pleasure of welcoming 1700 guests who visited the diplomatic mission and learned more about Ukraine and current situation in Crimea and in the east of our country.
Among the highlights of Ukrainian Embassy’s Open House were:
Volunteers from local Ukrainian communities, who became co-sponsors of Ukrainian Embassy’s Open House, held charitable fundraising during the day. All proceeds will go to support Ukrainian volunteers defending our country from Russian aggression as well as to help people in Ukraine affected by the aggression.
