On June 11, 2012 in the framework of Euro-2012 co-hosted by Ukraine and Poland Ukraine’s Embassy staff joined for a screening of Euro-2012: Ukraine vs. Sweden match arranged by U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) at BlackFinn American Saloon in Washington D.C.

Prior to the match, diplomats, USUBC staff and numerous friends of Ukraine’s Embassy performed Ukrainian anthem along with a national soccer team.

While watching the match the fans applauded Ukraine’s soccer team for the artistic game.

After the match Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Olexander Motsyk extended his heartfelt congratulations to Ukraine soccer team fans on the victory and invited to the Embassy of Ukraine for a screening of Euro-2012 final that will take place in Kyiv on July 1.

The Embassy of Ukraine hosted an Olexander Archypenko event to commemorate the 125th anniversary of famous Ukrainian and American painter and sculptor - Olexander Porfyrovych Archypenko

The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum hosted an event “Igor Sikorsky and his epic flight St. Petersburg – Kyiv” presented by Museum researcher Carl Bobrow
