Ukraine’s Ambassador to the U.S. Valeriy Chaly met with executives of Ukrainian academic institutions

On October 23, 2015, Ukraine’s Ambassador to the U.S. Valeriy Chaly met with a delegation of executives of Ukrainian academic institutions while on a visit to Washington, DC, through the U.S. State Department program of higher education system reforms in Ukraine.
Ukraine’s Ambassador to the U.S. informed the delegation about the priority areas of the Embassy activities including encouragement of American technical assistance to promote democracy along with political and economic changes in Ukraine.
The parties discussed present state of higher education in our country, ways of practical implementation of the groundwork in the sphere of reforms of Ukrainian higher education system in view of the best relevant U.S. practices, as well as collaborative mechanisms of further cooperation with the Embassy of Ukraine in the U.S. to promote Ukraine-U.S. education partnership.
