On November 4, Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Valeriy Chaly met with a delegation of press-secretaries and communication advisors from various Ukrainian ministries, who are visiting Washington, DC on a study trip. Ambassador Chaly spoke about plans and challenges that arise in the field ofinternational media and communications.
The group discussed ways to intensify Ukraine’s information policy, counter the Russian propaganda and communicate the Ukrainian reforms progress. The communication officials and diplomats agreed to coordinate efforts across different agencies to make Ukraine’s voice better heard in the U.S. media and the world.
The visit is organized by the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center with support of the US Embassy in Ukraine in a framework of the public communications reform. The delegates will visit theU.S.Department of State, National Security Council, Congress and Pentagon.
