Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA Valeriy Chaly met with Ukrainian Deputy Minister of health Igor Pereginets

Between February 8 and 11, 2016, the Ukrainian delegation headed by Deputy Minister of health Igor Pereginets visited Washington DC to participate in the 2016 ASM Biodefense and Emerging Disease Research Meeting.
The delegation also held negotiations with the representatives of Defense Threat Reduction Agency on the issues of biosecurity. The DoS and DoD officials also met DM Pereginets to discuss the issue of medical assistance to the Ukrainian servicemen who got injuries in the result of the Russian aggression in the east of Ukraine.
On February 11, 2016 Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA Valeriy Chaly met with Deputy Minister Igor Pereginets and discussed the issues of coordination in the area of biosecurity and medical assistance to Ukrainian servicemen.
