Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Valeriy Chaly met with World Jewish Congress Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice-President Robert Singer. Mark Levin, Director General of the National Coalition to support the Eurasian Jewish (NCSEJ) also attended the meeting.
Both sides discussed joint activities to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy in September 2016 and the importance of marking this event at a high level.
Mr. Singer mentioned the productive relationship that exists between the World Jewish Congress and Ukraine, and expressed his wish to have more intensive cooperation in the future.
Valeriy Chaly and Robert Singer also exchanged views on the further actions needed from the Jewish community in the United States and Ukraine to help our state which is fighting against Russian aggression.
