Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Valeriy Chaly and officers of the Defense Attaché Office met with students of the U.S. Army War College (Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania).
The Ambassador and the officers briefed the students on the situation with Ukraine’s fight against the Russian aggression, its foreign policy priorities, as well as on the efforts to reform the security and defense sector of Ukraine. They underlined the important role of the U.S. support for Ukraine. The students were also presented with booklet "Ukraine in World War II", which tells about Ukraine’s contribution in the victory and international peace.
Also, on occasion of the 20-th Anniversary of the Ukrainian Constitution the students were also informed on historical aspects of Ukraine’s statehood, Constitution and aspirations of the Ukrainian people to build a democratic, legal and liberal state.
