The Embassy of Ukraine in the United States celebrated the Day of the Ukrainian National Flag with raising a blue and yellow flag and singing the Ukrainian national anthem. This flag has become a symbol for many generations, who struggled for independence and today go on defending Ukraine against the foreign aggression. Millions of Ukrainians are overwhelmed with pride and joy when the Ukrainian flag flies to mark victories in sports, song contests and international competitions. These colors inspire hundred thousands of our defenders that stand for our freedom. It is a shrine we pay a tribute with to thousands of our fallen Нeroes.

Today the blue and yellow flag connects millions of people across the world in their devotion for Ukraine and inspires us, Ukrainians, to work tirelessly for its future.
