During the visit to Mississippi, Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Valeriy Chaly with his wife Liudmyla Mazuka visited Mississippi State University (MSU) that is the largest in the state and is one of the U.S. leaders in research activities.
In particular, the MSU has the best Unmanned Aircraft Systems design bureau in the U.S. - Raspet Research Flight Laboratory. As their master projects, MSU students design new models of drones using advanced materials and technologies. A common practice is doing projects commissioned by such aircraft giants, as the company "Boeing". They also have an experience of working for the NASA and the U.S. government agencies.
In the University Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems Valeriy Chaly and Liudmyla Mazuka got familiar with the project of sophisticating the mobile robots, which are used by the U.S. security forces in counterterrorism operations, as well as during hazardous works on overcoming the consequences of emergencies and natural disasters.
MSU High Performance Computing Collaboratory provides work for the scholars not only in this institution, but also in dozens of other U.S. universities and carries out the projects commissioned by other authorities and organizations. One of the most powerful computers in the world is located in MSU Computing Collaboratory.
