Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Valeriy Chaly held a meeting with a delegation of women representing major local Jewish philanthropic organizations of the U.S. with global humanitarian outreach, including in Ukraine.

The Ambassador thanked the representatives of the Jewish communities for their interest towards Ukraine, briefed them on the recent events related to the continuing Russian aggression against our state, as well as the progress in the implementation of reforms, and the priority areas of the current Ukraine-U.S. relations.
Valeriy Chaly told the audience about memorial events planned in Ukraine on the 75th anniversary of Babyn Yar tragedy with participation of a large number of foreign delegations, including from the U.S. He emphasized that the Government of Ukraine pays priority attention to holding the commemoration at the highest level.
Ambassador Chaly praised the important role of the U.S. Jewish communities in advancing the cooperation of Ukraine with the United States, and called for a continued inter-action along this way.
The meeting was attended also by Mark Levin, Executive Vice Chairman of the National Coalition Supporting Eurasian Jewry.
