Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Valeriy Chaly took part in a discussion at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace about the challenges faced by Ukraine on the eve of the U.S. presidential election and the realities that the incoming administration will have to confront as it forges a sustainable and effective policy.
Valeriy Chaly spoke about the situation in Donbass, Ukraine’s efforts to restore peace and territorial integrity as well as about the implemented reforms. Underling the importance of further support from the United States, Ukraine’s Ambassador also pointed out a need for a longer-term security strategy in East Central Europe and the Black Sea region, which will enhance wider security in the Euro-Atlantic space.
