In his welcoming remarks, Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Valeriy Chaly addressed the members of Ukrainian parliament from different political factions, representatives of public, civil and business sectors of Ukraine and the US, and stressed on the need for unity and consolidation of Ukrainian society around shared values, systemic reforms in Ukraine and implementation of European integration course of our country.

The Congressman from the 8th District of Pennsylvania, co-chairman of Ukrainian Caucus in the House of Representatives of the US Congress, Republican Brian Fitzpatrick addressed the audience stating that the Congress would continue supporting Ukraine in countering Russian aggression.

President of the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America Andriy Futey, coordinators of the Ukrainian delegation Yuriy Artemenko and Pavlo Unguryan emphasized the necessity of unity of the political and civic forces around interests of Ukraine.

The participants also paid a tribute to heroes who fell during an ongoing fighting in Avdiivka with a moment of silence.
