The exhibition "50 inventions Ukraine gave the world" has been officially opened in Washington, in the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (RRB / ITC).
This is the first US location of the project, created by the Ukraine Сrisis Media Center and aimed at spreading awareness of our country in the world. The event was organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA, with the support of the US-Ukrainian Business Council and RRB / ITC on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Ukraine-US diplomatic relations.
The opening was attended by our guest of honor, Secretary of the National Investment Council Borys Lozhkin, the creative mastermind behind the Second Floor Art Center at the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, where the exhibition was displayed for the first time.
Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United States of America Valeriy Chaly in his welcoming speech said that history is replete with ambitious research and development projects involving Ukraine and Ukrainian experts, the authors of inventions, without which we cannot imagine our present. But thanks to the young generation of inventors, our state continues to move forward to the new challenges that will shape the future of the world.
Borys Lozhkin, addressing the representatives of American business and government agencies, educational institutions, non-governmental organizations and the media, stressed that Ukraine seeks to demonstrate American partners and the whole world that promising are prospects of deepening and development of cooperation, given the inexhaustible potential of Ukraine in the sphere of innovations.
The exhibition is open at the RRB / ITC Monday to Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
