To be eligible to coverpreparation for and holding of Ukraine’s Parliamentary Elections on October 28, 2012, mass media have to submit an application on an official media organization's letterhead addressed to the Head of the Central Elections Commission (CEC), ATTN: Mr. V. Shapoval, 1 Lesi Ukrainky Square, Kyiv 01196, Ukraine.
The application should contain the following information in a request for accreditation:
- the name of the media organization,
- the reporter’s full name and position,
- the signature of the media organization director and seal of the organization,
- contact phone number and an e-mail address for receiving CEC announcements and newsletters.
To expedite the accreditation processa scanned copy of the original letter should be also forwarded to the CEC Secretariat, Mass Media Section, [email protected], Ter[email protected], [email protected] faxed to+380-44-286-8380.

All media representatives, including TV and radio technical staff, must obtain accreditation, with no exceptions, in order to cover CEC events.
Only reporters with accreditation cards and photo IDs will be admitted to the CEC.
An accreditation for a specific CEC event can be arranged through the phone contacts noted above.
To arrange for live coverage, media staff is requested to submit a list of TV/Radio equipment to be used in the CEC Press Center in advance.
Currently, no deadline has been set for media accreditation requests.
