Ukraine’s Chairman of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate visits Washington, D.C.

On 3-6 December, 2012, Chairman of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine Olena Mykolaychuk visited Washington, D.C. to participate in the international seminar entitled “Forging a New Nuclear Safety Construct” organized by the American Engineering Society.
During her stay in Washington, D.C. O.Mykolaychuk met with the heads of nuclear safety regulatory agencies of the United States as well as other countries and discussed the issues of strengthening the international cooperation to promote nuclear safety of nuclear facilities.
