On December 5th, 2012, Ambassador of Ukraine to theUS Olexander Motsyk addressed the Baltimore Council on Foreign Affairs with thespeech on "Prospects of relations between Ukraine and the United States"at the World Trade Center in Baltimore (Maryland).
The Baltimore Council on Foreign Affairs is a non-governmental and non-profit public association, which was established in 1980 and aims to inform the public about international relations. The Council regularly holds lectures, seminars, discussions and studies with the leaders of the Baltimore community and international professionals.
In his speech, Ambassador Motsyk informed of the Ukrainian history and current state of social and economic development in Ukraine, main priorities of its domestic and foreign policy.
Special attention was paid to the bilateral relations between Ukraine and the United States, priority areas of cooperation, economic and political achievements.
The Ambassador’s remarks were followed by Q and A session wherein O.Motsyk answered numerous questions from the audience and attended the dinner at the invitation of the Council leaders.
