On November 30, 2012, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Kostyantyn Gryshchenko met with US Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Richard Lugar.
The sides discussed the state of bilateral cooperation, pressing issues of international security, non-proliferation and disarmament.
American Senator assured that the United States are interested in powerful and prosperous Ukraine, which is regarded as a friend and a strategic partner.
