The Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Washington

Ukrainian Armed Forces Day was held in Washington.
Ukrainian defenders, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. General Mark A. Milley, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Russia, Ukraine and Eurasia Laura Cooper, DoD, White House and Congress officials, international military attachés, representatives of the defense industry, Ukrainian community, Ukrainian American Veterans participatedin the event.
As Major General Borys Kremenetskyi, Defense Attaché of Ukraine to the USA said in his speech: "Ukraine and its Armed Forces have been fighting with russian aggression for nine years. During the last nine months with full scale aggression and terror russia is trying to destroy our country, infrastructure and launched genocide against Ukrainians. They believe that they can frighten the 40 million nation with darkness and cold. They are heavily mistaken. We have never been more united than now. We will fight and never give up".
"This war will come to an end. And it will end if and only if Ukraine remains a free, sovereign, independent country with its territory intact.” - the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley during the solemn event congratulating Ukrainian soldiers on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ambassador Oksana Markarova stressed: "Ukraine will always remember the role that the USA played in preserving our country's freedom".
