A wonderful #EuropeDay celebration jointly held by Embassy of Ukraine in the USA and Estonian Embassy in Washington gathered almost 3 000 visitors in Ukraine House.
Ambassador of Ukraine Oksana Markarova, Ambassador of Estonia to the USA Kristjan Prikk and Ambassador of EU to the USA Stavros Lambrinidis jointly opened the event with strong and motivational speeches about the values the EU is based on and Ukraine is nowadays fighting for.
The Ukrainian and Estonian culture, art, music, literature, history, enhanced by national dishes and great atmosphere made this day really special.
During the event Embassy of Ukraine in the USA presented the certificates of appreciation to friends and partners who helped us celebrate EU Open House2023 including @Gerdan music band, Humanitarian Center of the St. Andrews Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, activists and volunteers Maryna Baydyuk, Nadiya Shaporynska, as well as young talented singers Mariia Bohomolova, Olha Radchenko.
Ukrainian dishes from RUTA restaurant and songs of Kateryna Buzhynska contributed to the event.
As the EU candidate country Ukraine was also presented at European Union in the United States Open House event.
