opened IGC Senior Officials’ session called “Reflections on Ukraine – Specific response to displacement in longer term: Next steps” which took place in Washington DC.
During the event Adam Hunter, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Immigration, Ambassador Markarova and Roman Goriainov, Director General for Consular Services of the MFA of Ukraine discussed the key policies which would enable a return of displaced citizens of Ukraine back home after the
war.
The improvements and modification of current protection programs for Ukrainian temporary displaced persons across Europe and North America were also a part of agenda as Ukraine is
working on opportunities to expand cooperation with IGC member-states, including the USA.
