On behalf of Ambassador Oksana Markarova, Deputy Chief of Mission Denys Sienik was honored to attend the presentation in the Organization of American States (OAS) of the artwork "Noche de Suspiros" by renowned Guatemalan visual artist and personally express to President of Guatamela Alejandro Giammattei and Foreign Minister Bucaro our sincere gratitude for their personal commitment to stand by Ukraine that all Ukrainians could witness during their visits to Ukraine in July 2022 and July 2023.

Guatemala is a vocal supporter of Ukraine in the Latin America and the Caribbean region, votes in favor of Ukrainian initiatives in various international fora, including the UN, became the first country of the region to join the Coalition of states for establishment of the special tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine.
