The United States Association of Former Members of Congress honored the 2023 Distinguished Service Award to the People of Ukraine for their patriotism, courage, and resolve in the face of russia’s invasion of their homeland and its crimes against humanity. Association of Former Members of Congress is a non-profit organization that, since 1974, has presented annually the award only to American figures. This year they broke the tradition to honor the heroic People of Ukraine. 

Receiving the FMC 2023 Distinguished Service Award on behalf of the People of Ukraine Ambassador emphasized that the Victory of Ukraine is crucial not only for our country but for the USA, the EU, and all world democracies, which share the common values of freedom, liberty, and justice.
