On February 8, 2013 the seventh Ukrainian prayer breakfast took place in Washington DC, the U.S. The event was held within the framework of the National prayer breakfast with the U.S. President that started in 1952 aiming at promotion of Christian values in the field of national policy and international relations.

The Ukrainian prayer breakfast was attended by members of Parliament including Yu.Miroshnychenko, H.Herman, I.Berezhna as well as former MPs, businessmen and public figures.

In his welcoming remarks Ukraine’s Ambassador to the U.S. Olexander Motsyk emphasized the importance of political mutual respect and unity to preserve common national values and development of modern, prosperous, democratic and European Ukraine.

The Ukrainian prayer breakfast was also attended by policymakers, businessmen, and public figures from the U.S., Germany, Austria and Israel.
