The sides discussed activities of JAFI in Ukraine and around the world. In this regard, M.Galperin noted that, from his point of view, current conditions of life of the Jewish community in Ukraine are the best in decades.

Ambassador of Ukraine informed the representatives of the Jewish organizations about ongoing reforms in Ukraine and efforts of the Ukrainian government to achieve requirements for further rapprochement with the EU. O.Motsyk expressed hope that American Jewish community would use its influence to support European aspirations of our country, in particular it would support the signing of the Association and Free Trade Area Agreements between Ukraine and the European Union in November of 2013.
