Ukraine’s Ambassador to the U.S. met with U.S.-Ukraine Business Council President

On July 23, 2013, Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Olexander Motsyk had a meeting with Mr. Morgan Williams, President of the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC).
At the meeting, Mr. Williams highly assessed the 1st International Business Conference “ABC: Ukraine & Partners”, hosted on June 13 and 14 in Kyiv by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov. Ambassador Motsyk and Mr. Williams discussed plans and identified priorities of cooperation between the Embassy and USUBC for the near future, including development of interregional ties, support of Ukrainian exporters at the U.S. market and U.S. investors in Ukraine.
European integration of Ukraine was a special topic of their discussion, including the signing of Agreement on European Association and Ukraine-EU Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area at Vilnius Summit in November 2013. On behalf of USUBC members, Mr. Williams expressed complete support of the process, noting that it will benefit not only Ukrainian and European, but also American companies operating at the Ukrainian market.
