O.Motsyk and W.Enyart noted the importance of further deepening strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United States in all areas, especially in non-proliferation, peace-keeping, defense cooperation, energy and agriculture. They also underlined the necessity of Ukraine's progress towards European integration, including the signing in November this year in Vilnius of the Association and Free Trade Zone Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.

Among other issues, Congressman Enyart spoke in praise the professional level of Ukrainian peace-keepers who he met during his service at the National Guard.

The prospects for further enhancement of inter-parliamentary cooperation were also discussed.
