Director of the European Union Department, Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, V.Chentsov participated in the annual summit “Ukraine's quest for mature statehood”

On September 23, 2013, Director of the European Union Department, Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, V.Chentsov participated in the second roundtable of the annual summit of the Working group U.S.-Ukraine “Ukraine's quest for mature statehood: divining the outcome of the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius” Washington DC.
In his remarks V.Chentsov briefed the audience on Ukraine’s preparation for signing the Association Agreement with the EU. He underlined that Free Trade Zone with the EU will provide Ukraine with significant economic perspectives. V.Chentsov also informed the attendees of the fulfillment of conditions set by the European Union necessary for signing the Association Agreement in November this year.
The representatives of the U.S., Canadian and European political circles that were in attendance expressed their support for the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
