Ukrainian participants of the Open World Program visited the Embassy of Ukraine in Washington, D.C., on November 7, 2013.
For the first time in the course of implementation of the Program, over 60 Program participants representing universities and local governments of our country, included four representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, who will visit U.S. regions along with other Ukrainians.
The participants were welcomed by Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Olexander Motsyk, and Amb. John O’Keefe, Executive Director of Open World Leadership Center.
Since 1999, the Open World Program has provided opportunities for participants from ex-Soviet countries to acquaint themselves with American model of governance and establish contacts with U.S. counterparts.
