On November 20, 2013, the Embassy of Ukraine to the U.S. hosted a meeting of Ambassador Olexander Motsyk with student members of European Club of Georgetown University.
Ukraine’s Ambassador opening remarks covered basic facts about Ukrainian foreign policy, including European integration and Ukrainian-American strategic partnership. Ambassador’s speech was followed by a lively discussion with Q&As.
The event concluded with a reception that included traditional Ukrainian food.
Georgetown university, founded in 1789, is among America’s oldest universities. According to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, it ranks 160 globally. The main campus of the university is located in Georgetown neighborhood of Washington DC close to Ukraine’s Embassy chancery.
