They discussed the current state and prospects of development of Ukrainian -American cooperation in space, in particular the follow up to the visit of the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko to the United States in October 2013. Both sides noted the successful cooperation between the two countries, in particular on the International Space Station.

During the meeting they stressed on the importance of finding new areas of bilateral cooperation in the exploration and use of outer space and agreed to intensify contacts between the space industry enterprises of Ukraine and Boeing to elaborate new joint projects.
