On June 9-10, 2011 in the framework of the working visit to the US the delegation of Ukraine headed by the Chairman of the State Agency for Investment and National Projects of Ukraine Vladyslav Kaskiv paid a business visit to the New York City.
During the visit, members of the delegation had a working meetings with the Executive Director of the Corporation «Empire State Development» - Agency for Economic Development of New York P.Davidson, representatives of the «HSBC Holdings» banking group, management of the NYC leading law companies, executives of the financial company «Duff & Phelps », Vice-president of the International Rating Agency «Moody’s Investors Service» and analyst on Ukraine D.Hornung, «Broad Street Capital Group» CEO O.Hordin and the top representatives of «Deutsche Bank», «Commerzbank» and «Nixon Peabody». Consul General of Ukraine in New York S.O.Pohoreltsev and Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States of America A.I. Pravednyk attended the meetings.
Head of the delegation and Chairman of the State Agency for investments and management of national projects of Ukraine V.Kaskiv was interviewed by the «Bloomberg» News Agency during the visit. The interview appeared on the Agency’s URL on June 10, 2001.
During the meetings in the framework of the working visit the delegation briefed the American counterparts on the priorities of the State Agency, its structure and main goals, as well as provided detailed information on national projects aimed at attracting of foreign investments. V.Kaskiv provided the American side with the information on the main content, purposes and expected results of the realization of ten most significant national projects which documentation made exclusively by the state budget of Ukraine cost is almost completed.
The U.S. side expressed interest with regard to further development of the cooperation with the State Agency; in particular the emphasis has been given to the readiness of the American companies to assist in presentations of the projects and provide advisory services on their implementation.
