May, 6 2011, Flower Mart - the annual outdoor flower festival started at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC. This year the main country hosting the festival is the Republic of Austria. Along with the main country of the event, Embassies of many others countries have presented their flower compositions.

Flower composition presenting our county –  «Dreams about Ukraine»  - is made of roses in national colors and beautifully supplemented by a bronze sculpture by talented Ukrainian artist Ihor Grechanyk. Ukrainian Embassy has dedicated this composition to the 20th anniversary of Independence of our country.

Traditional originality and elegance of the Ukrainian flower installation was acknowledged by numerous guests of the National Cathedral.

The high level of organization of the last year’s 71st Flower Mart when Ukraine hosted the Festival was also remarked. 71stFestival was considered as the best one of the past decade.
