President of Ukraine had a phone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry

The President of Ukraine expressed gratitude for significant role of the U.S. in consolidation of international support of territorial integrity of Ukraine. 

He also noted the importance of American statements on the non-recognition of the results of pseudo-elections in the Donbas of November 2 and their condemnation.

President Poroshenko noted Ukraine's devotion to the peaceful settlement of the conflict in strict compliance with the Minsk agreements. "We have made too much efforts and paid too much time to achieve these agreements and we cannot reject them," the Head of State said.

Petro Poroshenko also offered to restore Geneva format of multilateral dialogue on peaceful solution to the situation in the Donbas at the level of Foreign Ministers.

In his turn, John Kerry expressed support on behalf of the United States to Ukraine and the actions of the Ukrainian President on adherence to the letter and spirit of the Minsk protocol. He congratulated Ukraine on free and democratic parliamentary elections of October 26. He also highly evaluated the achievement of gas agreements in the format Ukraine-EU-Russia.

The parties discussed the details of military-technical cooperation and the visit of U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden to Ukraine that is to be held on November 21.
