On May 26, 2010 Ambassador of Ukraine Oleh Shamshur met with the Chairman of the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe (the Helsinki Commission) Senator Benjamin Cardin.

The discussion was devoted to the domestic situation in Ukraine, as well as further prospects of the US-Ukraine cooperation in the framework of the Charter on Strategic Partnership.

Ambassador expressed appreciation for the Commission’s as well as Senator Cardin’s long-term commitment to Ukraine’s development as a democratic and European nation and thanked Mr.Cardin for a fruitful cooperation.
