Head of Economic and Trade Office of the Embassy of Ukraine to the USA Vitalii Tarasiuk visited the State of Rhode Island

Head of Economic and Trade Office of the Embassy of Ukraine to the USA Vitalii Tarasiuk visited the State of Rhode Island. During the visit, he met with member of Senate Committee on Commerce Senator Elaine J. Morgan and member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives Justin K. Price as well as representatives of local business community.
Parties discussed further strengthening of economic cooperation between Ukraine and the State of Rhode Island and agreed to promote more active involvement of regional political and business leaders in support of our country.
Moreover, Vitalii Tarasiuk participated in US Naval War College’s Workshop Ukraine’s Second Battleground: Economic Transformation. Participants of the event were informed on current situation in Ukraine and on implementation of economic reforms in our country. Vitalii Tarasiuk in his statement underlined the necessity of proactive engagement of regions of the United States in providing economic assistance to Ukraine.
