The Air Attaché to the Embassy of Ukraine to the United States of America Sergiy Panchenko presented the Awards of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to the group of wounded Ukrainian military Andriy Ivanov, Maksim Shabyuk and Mikhailo Frick who are undergoing rehabilitation at the Brook Army Military Medical Center (BAMMC), San Antonio, Texas.
On behalf of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine he also expressed highest gratitude to the Ukrainian volunteer Iryna Khomyk for her contribution to treating the Ukrainian soldiers. The wounded soldiers have also received financial aid from the Organization New Ukrainian Wave PASSAIC in New Jersey.
Also present at the ceremony were representatives of the social services and the National Guard of Ukraine. They were visiting the BAMMC to learn the best practices of rehabilitation of wounded soldiers.
On behalf of the Embassy of Ukraine Sergiy Panchenko expressed deep appreciation to all the employees of the Brook Army Military Medical Center, representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora and volunteers.
