On December 2, 2015, Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Valeriy Chaly had a meeting with Ranking Member of the Committee on Appropriations of the U.S. House of Representatives Nita Lowey during which they discussed practical aspects of support of Ukraine by the United States’ Congress, particularly in the context of the ongoing appropriations process.
Ambassador Chaly thanked Rep. Lowey, who is also a member of the Congressional Ukrainian Caucus, for her steadfast support of Ukraine in the context of the ongoing Russian aggression.
In her turn, the Ranking Member said that Ukraine has a large group of friends in the U.S. Congress, and that the United States’ highest legislative body continues to be on our country’s side.
