On September 29th, 2010, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Unites States met with Dr. Stephen Nix, the Regional Director for Eurasia at the International Republican Institute.

The discussion was devoted to issues of the U.S.-Ukraine Strategic Partnership, domestic situation in Ukraine on the eve of local elections. Prospects of Ukraine’s European integration have been also discussed.

Ambassador Motsyk commended the IRI’s endeavor aimed at strengthening democracy in the world and in Ukraine. He also thanked Dr. Nix for his personal contribution to the development of the Ukrainian legal system.
