On September 13th, 2010, Ambassador of Ukraine Olexander Motsyk met with Ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Senator Richard Lugar.

The discussion focused on issues pertaining to the U.S.-Ukraine strategic partnership, in particular cooperation in political and economic spheres, and interpalriamentary dialogue. The sides agreed on the necessity to continue joint efforts in securing nuclear non-proliferation regime.

Ambassador Motsyk thanked Senator Lugar for the consistent support of Ukraine’s path towards strengthening democratic institutions and economic development.
