During the first meeting at such high-level with representative of economic block of American Administration sides discussed opportunities for boosting US-Ukraine trade and investment cooperation, and agreed to find new pragmatic approaches for development of mutually beneficial projects.

The Minister invited American companies to take proactive part in developing of Ukraine’s economy, in particular in forthcoming privatization campaign, and underlined Government’s commitments to continue way of improvement of business climate in Ukraine. Ambassador Chaly expressed his vision on US-Ukraine high-tech and defense manufacturing cooperation.  Secretary Ross supported these ideas and underlined that Department of Commerce is interested in more close cooperation with Ukraine.
