In March, 2012, Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Olexander Motsyk visited “ Betsy Ross Arts Magnet School” in Connecticut where he opened a travelling exhibition of Ukrainian children drawings dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence. The exhibition involved the drawings of children from Ukrainian families of Texas, Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania and various regions of Ukraine such as Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv and L’viv. The drawings have been already on display in Connecticut in particular at the Groton Public Library and the New Britain Public Library, and in August they will be exhibited at the Bridgeport Public Library. This exhibition is supported by Fermata Arts Organization and has a great success among the art lovers.
