On July 16, 2012, Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Olexander Motsyk met with June Zeitlin, Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on Gender Issues, Head of “The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women” Education Project at The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights in Washington, DC.

Immediate issues of the international cooperation in the sphere of women rights and gender equality were discussed at the meeting, particularly in the light of making this cluster of issues a priority for Ukraine that will preside the OSCE in 2013.
