On July 13-15, 2012, the 6th Annual Ukrainian Cultural Festival took place at Soyuzivka Heritage Center in Kerhonkson, NY, under the patronage of the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States. The Festival was organized by the Ukrainian National Foundation and the Ukrainian National Association.
Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Olexander Motsyk in his welcoming letter to the organizers, participants and guests of the Festival brought into focus particular importance of this event for demonstrating wealth and an inexhaustible potential of the Ukrainian national art and cultural heritage.
The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Ukrainian National Foundation and the Ukrainian National Assembly for successful organization of the Festival. Olexander Motsyk also paid tribute to the Ukrainian American Community for its significant contribution into restoration of the Ukrainian statehood, preserving national identity and strengthening of Ukraine-U.S. relations.
6th Ukrainian Cultural Festival at Soyuzivka, like in previous years, gathered thousands of guests, who had an opportunity to get acquainted with gifted Ukrainian performers both from the U.S. and Ukraine. The National Artiste of Ukraine Ruslana was the Festival’s special guest from Ukraine.
