On November 15, 2012, at the headquarters of Marriott International Inc. (Bethesda, Maryland, USA) Ukraine’s Ambassador to the US O.Motsyk met with John Willard Marriott Jr., Executive Chairman of the Board of the hotel chain Marriott International Inc.

During the meeting J.Marriott marked very high prospects of the Ukrainian market and economic potential of Ukraine. He also informed of the intention to expand the company’s presence on the Ukrainian market in the coming years. Mr.Marriott confirmed plans to open its first hotel in Ukraine - Renaissance Kyiv Hotel – in June-July, 2013.

The launch of Marriott International Inc. in Ukraine will contribute not only to the implementation of advanced management technologies in hotel business and expand the use of modern high-quality services, but will also attract additional financial resources and create new jobs.
