On November 10, 2012 – the Embassy of Ukraine to the U.S. hosted Omelian and Tetiana Antonovych Foundation Award ceremony, organized by the Embassy Cultural-Information Center in association with the Foundation board.
The annual awards presented by the Antonovych Foundation designed to honor prominent literary works in Ukrainian or Ukrainian studies. Canadian professors Zenon Kohut and Frank Sysyn became this year's award winners. Their original scientific works in the field of early modern history of Ukraine highlighted the uniqueness of historical development of Ukraine.
Omelian and Tetiana Antonovych Foundation Award celebrates the high scientific level of the winners which they successfully combined with broad organizational activities as heads of research institutes.
