The delegation of The State Customs Service of Ukraine headed by the Head of the Service Igor Kaletnik paid a working visit to the United States on November 5-9, 2012. During the visit, the delegation of Ukraine held a meeting with the First Deputy Chairman / acting Chairman of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Mr. David Aguilar.

The sides noted the increasing level of bilateral cooperation of customs administrations in both law enforcement and technical assistance fields, as well as development of the cooperation in combating drug trafficking. They agreed to continue bilateral work on a new Mutual Administrative Assistance in Customs Matters between the Governments of Ukraine and the USA.

The Ukrainian delegation also examined the activities of the CBP Canine Center, CBP Training Center, CBP activities in the Port of Baltimore, Washington Dulles International Airport and checkpoints on the US-Mexican border (Loredo, Texas).
