Arena football tournament drawing took place at the Embassy of Ukraine to the U.S. on the occasion of Euro-2012 Washington D.C., May 7, 2012

The Embassy of Ukraine hosted an arena football tournament drawing among the teams of the embassies accredited in Washington DC. The tournament is dedicated to the European football championship co-hosted by Ukraine and Poland this coming summer.

In total 12 teams including that of the U.S. Department of State will be participating in the tournament initiated by the Embassy of Ukraine to the U.S.

The tournament is expected to be over by the beginning of the European football championship.

In his welcoming remarks, Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Olexander Motsyk informed the guests of the Embassy about the preparations by Ukraine and Poland for the football championship and assured the audience that Euro-2012 will be the best in the whole history of the European football championship.

O.Motsyk also emphasized, that football fans visiting Ukraine for the championship will be able to discover a wonderful country with its rich and glorious history, culture, traditions, hospitality and benevolence of the Ukrainian people.
